Catherine McCullough most recently served as a Director of Education in the province of Ontario from 2007-2014. Throughout her career she has also worked as a teacher, consultant, elementary and secondary principal and a Supervisory Officer. She graduated with a Master of Education from Brock University and the Rotman Schools of Business with a certificate in Strategic Leadership. She has received her Executive Coaching Certification through Fielding Graduate University, and the EQi2.0 and EQi360 in Emotional Intelligence. She is certified in a range of additional leadership tools that support and provide effective leadership self-awareness and growth.
She has served on numerous provincial committees through the Ministry of Education and is currently an Advisory Member for the Right Honourable Paul Martin and the MAEI (Martin Aboriginal Education Initiative) .
Catherine has served with the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL). Leadership development in education, and in the public and private sector has been an area of interest and expertise.
Catherine through her company CMCLeadership is also currently working with Dr. Ken Leithwood on a project for Directors of Education and System Leaders, leveraging his current research project entitled “Strong Districts and their Leadership”
